Welcome to The Misprint Archive

Every card tells a story, but misprints tell extraordinary ones. What began as a way to escape the COVID-19 Pandemic bloomed into a passion for the exploration of misprints and friendship in the community.

This archive represents years of hunting, trading, and documenting the beautiful accidents that occur in the printing process. From crimps and miscuts to ink errors and embedded objects, each piece reveals the delicate complexity behind creating millions of cards.

What I Collect

My focus spans across all eras of Magic, with particular interest in:

  • Severe Miscuts - Cards showing portions of adjacent cards or dramatic centering errors
  • Crimps & Folds - Factory crimping and folding errors that create unique textures
  • Ink Errors - Missing colors, shifts, or registration problems in the printing process
  • Double Prints - Cards with overlapping or double-struck imagery
  • Test Prints - Rare production samples and printing press errors

Philosophy

While many collectors seek perfection, I celebrate imperfection. These cards represent moments where the mechanical precision of modern printing faltered, creating something truly one-of-a-kind. They're windows into the manufacturing process and reminders that even in mass production, uniqueness finds a way.

I believe in sharing knowledge and building community. Whether you're a fellow misprint enthusiast, curious about production errors, or just discovering this fascinating niche, I'm always happy to discuss the hobby.
